There usually isn't much great to say about a state like Indiana. (Sorry guys..) Even if it's next to the state I grew up in, Ohio. Come to think of it, there isn't much great about Ohio, either, except that I get to refer to myself as a giant poisonous nut (I'M A BUCKEYE) since I went to Ohio State.
Anyhow, I just thought I would take a moment in this big paperchasing fiasco to thank the Indiana Secretary of State for not being money grubbing like the rest of the state governments! Indiana will certify my husband's birth certificate for FREE! For free, folks. Oh my goodness...For the first time in this process, I do not have to write out a stinking check. Hear that California? Free versus $20 a document? Too bad it's only one document. All this excitement for one document. Guess my kids will have a Christmas after all.

Yeah Indiana!!! Wow, I never, ever heard of any state, county, or town for that matter doing any sort of paperwork for free. Can I have that $20?!! (just kidding...)
