OK, I can procrastinate as much as the next person, but there gets to be a point where procrastination turns into sheer laziness.
My point:
I am driving down the street to turn into my neighborhood, and I see Christmas lights (CHRISTMAS LIGHTS?!) hanging off someone's house a block before my turnoff. Granted, they're the white icicle kind that are harder to notice, but it's March! St. Patrick's Day is Friday! My Goodness...Get Off Your Lazy Butts!
Of course, this isn't within the confines of our neighborhood "home association" because The Cleavers would have hunted them down and axed them. We got a stern warning at Christmas time that all Christmas lights were to be down by January 16th. Well, that was 2 months ago!
Time to drink some green beer this weekend and take down the Christmas lights.

Wow, those Cleavers sound awful. If I were you I would string flashing green shamrock lights and leprechauns in your front yard on Thursday night and turn them on just after midnight on St.Patrick's Day. Then go around the corner and have a green beer with the lazy light people - they're probably much cooler.
I'm glad the Cleavers live in your neighborhood and not mine. We get enough grief from our association for having a boat in the driveway during the summer. I might actually move it if the Cleavers got on my case, they sound mean!
That's funny, I was noticing a couple of homes in my neighborhood still had their lights up too! What's up with that?!
I have to say, Christmas lights in March is really annoying!
Back in our old neighborhood, not only did the neighbors leave the lights up all year long, they would frequently turn them on!!!
I wish I could have hired the Cleavers to beat some sense into them.
There is one in every neighborhood... guess it makes it easier come December????
