Bryan and Jen!
Palm Sunday seemed like the appropriate time to assemble Isabel's CHRISTMAS toy that she has been so anxiously awaiting for us to assemble. It's this Learning House that she seems very pleased with. Yes, we are some with-it parents! What a bunch of lazy asses. I am so glad she is only nine months and unable to harp about what bums we are for not getting to this sooner.
But you can. Feel free to roast us.

Poor deprived child, what has she been doing with herself for the past FOUR months???

Haha! I can't believe your 3-year-old didn't catch sight of the box and DEMAND that you "OPEN IT! OPEN IT! OPEN IT!". That's what our 3-year-old would say.
Our 16 month old loves the learning house. It was a Christmas gift here, too. :-)
OK, I do this on purpose!! I hide about half the gifts and take them out from time to time..We just get too many gigantanormus toys to assemble at once. As it is we feel like we live in a frikin daycare. Does that make me an even worse parent..with it being intentional deprivation and all?!?!
I actually agree with savymanda. Saving some gifts to get out at a later time keeps the kids from getting too bored. We "rotate" toys at my childcare center and it works great. If you had put it together at Christmas, she might not even play with it now!
P.S. My husband says we are only going to buy toys for our children that are already put together. Ha ha ha! Boy is he naive!
Oh I'm sure she has had nothing to play with.Therapy is going to cost you plenty.
You new profile picture is so cute. Love those smiles!
You could have just re-wrapped it and waited til her birthday. (I'm gonna make some kind of Mom, huh?)
It's just Christmas all over again - that's a good thing!
It just took that long to figure out how to get it together, right?
No roasting from this neck of the woods... something about that glass house and stones saying...
Lovin' Isabelle's pants!!
