What To Be...What To Be?

Given our children are gifted and inherited our exceptional brain power, I decided to introduce my nine month old, Isabel, to the world of career exploration. You can never start too young, I say.

She initially was riveted by telecommunications. I told her telemarketing definitely wasn't the way to go. Dead end career. And although she is a very good heavy breather right now, and it certainly pays better, her father wouldn't approve of working for the 900 phone industry.

She moved on to exploring becoming a musician with a proclivity towards the kazoo. We discussed that the kazoo really doesn't have much of a place in the world of music nowadays, except with goofballs like this.

You must go to college young lady! Construction worker no. You can wear a hardhat if you are an architect...how about that? Who doesn't want to be like Ted Brady?

Now, there we go....

Not that Ted Bundy was an architect, but for some reason thinking of him nevertheless...

Has anyone ever seen the movie where Mark Harmon played Ted Bundy?

OK, I thought I was laughing hard at the post, but can't get over the Mike Brady/Ted Bundy talk going on here! By the way, you may want to point your dear daughter into the dental field. I know where my dentist lives and I have helped him pay for his HUGE house with the very expensive root canals I have had to have lately.

Like the fresh & fun new look!

And FYI, as an Archaeologist (with 1/2 a Ph.D., I might add) I wear a hard hat on occasion... I have two, one pink and the other leopard print, of course.

I saw that movie! I only vaguely remember it though, so it must have been a long time ago. (Well either that or my crappy memory is just rearing its ugly head.)

If she chooses medical field, I say, push her into plastic surgery. You'll always be the youngest looking mom in town!
